We believe in honesty and want to share a few important details about our home: 🏠 The house is in great shape with all new furniture, but please note the bathrooms and kitchen could use some updating. 🛁 The tub is spotless and fully functional, but it does have a small corrosion stain from a past cleaning mishap — totally safe, just not the prettiest! 🐞 We professionally treat the home for pests year-round, and in warmer months, we also treat for mosquitoes to keep the yard enjoyable. That said, this is the deep South, so you might spot a bug or two. It’s just part of living in a humid, swampy area! If you see any, just give us a shout. 🏡 Our neighborhood is safe and chill, with lots of friendly kids nearby. While some yards and homes vary in upkeep, the area is walkable and welcoming. Thanks for understanding — we want your stay to be as comfortable and enjoyable as possible!

House Rules

1. Absolutely no smoking/vaping anywhere on property or you will incur a $500 penalty. 2. Please list the correct number of guests. Any unreported guests will incur a $100 fee per guest/per day 3. Check out is at 11 a.m. If you need more time, please ask ahead of time. Any late check out fee will result in an additional day rate being added to your bill. 4. All locals must request before booking. 5. Please correctly state the number of pets on your reservation. Any unauthorized pets will result in a $1000 fine per pet per night. 6. We are pet friendly but we have a two pet max. 7. Sorry we don't allow puppies. Dogs must be 6 months or older, well cared for (spayed/neutered, up to date on flea/tick medication and vaccinated), and cleaned up after. 8. Out of respect for our neighbors, please keep outside noise down especially during neighborhood hours of 9 p.m. 9. We have made an attempt to make the house kid friendly, but we cannot guarantee its a prefect setting for young children. If you are concerned about this or have very young babies this may not be the ideal house. 10. We have our house professionally serviced by pest control professional both for mosquito spraying and bugs. However please be aware that this is the south, and when the weather changes, or after storm weather you may see a bug. This is not an indication that the place is dirty, but that we indeed live in a warm climate :)

Neighborhood

This is an older, working class, safe neighborhood in North Charleston. It has easy access to the interstate so getting in is a snap. Our nieghborhood is great for walking or biking around, but visually you will see some of the houses are nice, some need a pressure wash. People wave when you pass, but some yards need mowing etc. Overall very safe and good vibes.

Had a great stay! House sits on a quiet cul-de sac house was perfect location for celebrating my daughter’s graduation from CSU!. It was very clean with comfy beds. Would stay here again! Thanks for being a great host!

One of the best spots we have ever stayed in. The house has plenty of space to hangout with your family but also enough space so that you can be alone. Joseph was very thoughtful when it came snacks, towels, coffee/teas, and even body wash and different types of soaps. Enough yard space for the children to play and the grownups to hangout. Definitely booking with Joseph again when we visit Charleston.
