House Rules

1. absolutely no smoking/vaping in the house (you may use the porch but please don’t leave butts). There is a $1000 fee for any guest who smokes/vapes indoors. 2. please list the correct number of guests. Any unreported guests will incur a $100 fee per guest. 3. check out is at 11 a.m.. If you need more time, please ask ahead of time. Any late check out fee will result in an additional day rate being added to your bill. 4. All locals must request before booking. 5. Please correctly state the number of pets on your reservation. Any unauthorized pets will result in a $500 fine per pet per night. 6. We are pet friendly but we have a two pet max 7. Out of respect for our neighbors, please keep outside noise down especially during neighborhood hours of 9 p.m. 8. We have made an attempt to make the house kid friendly, but we cannot guarantee its a prefect setting for young children. If you are concerned about this or have very young babies this may not be the ideal house. 9. We have our house professionally serviced by pest control professional both for mosquito spraying and bugs. However please be aware that this is the south, and when the weather changes, or after storm weather you may see a bug. This is not an indication that the place is dirty, but that we indeed live in a swampy below sea level city :)

This was our second time at the same house in about a year. Joseph was very helpful in all aspects. Great guy and a great place to stay in peace and quiet.

My family and I had the best Galentine’s weekend at Joseph’s home in Summerville! We were able to check in early, which was such a plus and gave us time to get settled. The house was exactly as listed—spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The backyard was definitely our favorite part. Our little Boston Terrier had the best time running around and exploring. We did have a small issue with the backyard lock, but Joseph quickly sent his handyman, Bradford, who fixed it right away. The neighborhood was peaceful and welcoming, with neighbors walking their dogs and kids playing outside. It was the perfect setting. Overall, it was exactly what we needed for a relaxing mini getaway to Charleston!

Joseph was very respectful and friendly. The house seemed to be in a very quiet neighborhood which my wife enjoyed because she felt safe while I was gone. His house has a sun room and a big backyard that my kids enjoyed besides having lots of free popcorn and nice TV. They also enjoyed playing some of the board games with me. My wife loved that he had a washer and dryer and that she didnt had to worry a lot about cleaning or picking up. I also had forgotten to read that he allows pets, and two of my kids and wife are extremely allergic to pets, but when we arrived we were pretty impressed that they were able to stay in his house without an allergy reaction. I hope he continues to keep the house very clean of dust and animal hair. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This was our first time reserving this home for a week, and it was an outstanding stay. The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. Joseph is an exceptional host and truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. He was extremely responsive to the couple of requests we had and handled everything quickly and professionally. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.
