Charleston is also a port city so you will also hear trains from time to time. Airplanes can also be heard sometimes since Charleston Internation is close by. ⛈️Hurricane Season Pro Tip: Purchase traveler's insurance! Storms are unpredictable and may affect travel. Official Atlantic Hurricane Season begins each year on June 1 and ends on November 30.

House Rules

The number of people staying on the property should equal the number of people you say are coming. We will need you to provide the first and last names of those numbered with you. Absolutely no underage drinking. No illegal or illicit drugs. Absolutely no smoking of cigarette or marijuana allowed in the house or on the property at all. Guests who are found in violation of the no-smoking rule will be charged a $1000 fee. The traveler booking the home must be at least 21 years old. No parties or events. $350 fee for violating the no parties/events rule. Your reservation will be canceled with no refund and you will be asked to leave. The fireplace is non-functioning. Guests are not allowed to start a fire in the fireplace. Feel free to use the provided electric fireplaces for a fireplace ambiance! During humid weather do not open windows and do not leave front and back doors open. This prevents any outside moisture from damaging the interior. Indoor furniture is not to be rearranged. Please leave everything as you found it. This is a quiet neighborhood and all of the neighbors surrounding you are our friends; Which is why the rules state that no parties are to be held here. Please respect them and their right to enjoy the quiet. Enjoy laughs, good conversation, and camaraderie; no problem. But keep the levels to a place where others aren't bothered. There are noise ordinances in this historic neighborhood, the heart, the social and political soul of North Charleston. Our neighbors will protect the quiet and hold guests accountable, which is why this has to be said. A local noise ordinance is in effect from 11 pm-7 am daily. If you are reported as being in violation of the above, you will be asked to leave the property with no refund. Please respect the law and your neighbors. Keep the peace. Guests are responsible for securing all valuables during their stay. The host is not liable for the loss of any items due to, but not limited to, unsecured car doors, unlocked doors, or open windows. Guests are responsible for any loss or damages that occur due to the home not being properly secured. Guests are responsible for any loss or damages that are caused by the traveler booking the reservation and all accompanying guests. No parking in front of the house on the grassy area. Please do not block the sidewalk as that can lead to a fine. There is a large driveway for four cars on the right side of the home. FIRE PIT RULES - Only use the provided firewood. Do not burn trash or pressure-treated wood. No tinder needed! A starter log for each night is provided for guests. - If a wind advisory is issued that day, burning will not be allowed. - Always only burn in the provided fire pit. - NO ACCELERANTS ALLOWED! Please only use the provided starter log. - Never leave the fire or embers unattended. - Be sure the fire pit is at least 10 feet away from any structures, overhangs, or trees. - When you are finished enjoying, be sure to douse the ashes with water and ensure the fire is completely out. Stir the ashes to make sure nothing is still lit. Fire pits are a great way to bring people together and enjoy the lovely backyard! Please remember you are dealing with fire and always exercise caution.

If you are looking for a good book to take home with you, look no further than the Itinerant Literate. This locally-owned bookshop features a wide selection of curated titles. Park Circle is a vibrant, bustling neighborhood filled with unique shops, restaurants, and friendly people. The area is very walkable, bike-able, and parking is easy to find. Park Circle is about a 20-30 minute drive from the nearest beach and 20 minutes from historic downtown Charleston. We loved our stay in Park Circle! The house was plenty of space for two couples and a dog. We loved the fenced in yard and the house was stocked with everything we could need. It was a great location, with wonderful restaurants and breweries in walking distance. We would definitely stay here again!
