House Rules

1. Absolutely no smoking/vaping inside the house or anywhere on property or you will incur a $500 penalty. 2. Please list the correct number of guests. Any unreported guests will incur a $100 fee per guest per night. 3. The amenity pass requires the fob key. This is located in the built-in shelves in the kitchen/dining area on a lanyard that says The Chimney Chap. All guests are responsible for it. If it is lost, there is a $500 replacement fee charged to guest. 4. Check out is at 11 a.m.. If you need more time, please ask ahead of time. Any late check out fee will result in an additional day rate being added to your bill. 5. All locals must request before booking. 6. Please be careful when operating the washer and dryer. Do not overload. 7. Out of respect for our neighbors, please keep outside noise down especially during neighborhood hours of 9 p.m. 8. We have made an attempt to make the house kid friendly, but we cannot guarantee it's a perfect setting for young children. If you are concerned about this or have very young babies this may not be the ideal house.

On Edisto Beach — one of South Carolina's most beloved and unspoiled barrier islands, deliberately kept free of high-rises and chain development — the vibe is pure, old-school Southern beach: wide, shell-covered sand, live oak maritime forest, and the kind of quiet that's getting harder to find. Edisto Beach State Park, with 5 miles of beach and some of the best fossil-hunting on the East Coast, is just down the road. The Edisto Beach Fishing Pier and the island's handful of casual seafood restaurants and ice cream shops complete the picture. Charleston is approximately 1.5 hours north — a world away in the best possible sense.

The whole house is yours. Your stay includes a complimentary Amenity Pass! Enjoy access to three pools including a heated indoor pool. Plus free mini golf, pickleball, tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, & yard games. You’ll also have access to the playground and the private beach cabana at Beach Access #20, complete with bathrooms and an outdoor shower for easy, stress-free beach days.

Find us

A car is required — Edisto Island is remote by design, with no public transit (Walk Score: 13). A bike is a great way to explore the state park and beach road. Groceries and supplies should be stocked before arriving — the island has a small grocery and a few shops. Charleston International Airport is approximately 1.5 hours north. Ride-share is not available on Edisto — plan to drive. Our home has four parking spots.
